报告题目:How to make twisting field lines? – iota production by external coils
摘 要:The magnetic confinement fusion is a way to realize the fusion reaction by the extremely high-temperature plasma. Several magnetic configurations were proposed for the magnetic confinement fusion, and two magnetic configuration, tokamak and stellarator, are leading the magnetic confinement research. In tokamak and stellarator, the “flux surfaces”, where a twisting field line is covering on a surface of the torus topology, is applied to confine the plasma. However, tokamak and stellarator are so different how to make the flux surfaces. In this lecture, the iota production, which is the production of the twisting field line, is reviewed, in particular, the stellarator.
个人简介:Yasuhiro Suzuki , 铃木康浩教授,现任广岛大学(Hiroshima University)先进科学与工程研究院教授。2003年毕业于京都大学能源科学专业,并获得博士学位。曾任核融合科学研究所(NIFS)副教授,德国马克斯·普朗克等离子体物理研究所访问研究员。目前研究方向为磁流体力学不稳定性的理论与实验研究,聚变等离子体中的边界等离子体的理论与模拟。
